Our independence allows us to provide you with a broader range of treatment options. This may include earwax removal, tinnitus management, custom earplugs, practical hearing strategies, and, where appropriate, hearing aids recommended for you from all leading manufacturers.

Essence Audiology was founded by husband-and-wife business partners Sreejith Nair and Nisha Krishnani. Together, they created a clinic where people can access experienced audiology care, clear information and genuinely independent advice close to home.
Their shared approach is simple: listen carefully, explain clearly and take the time needed to find a suitable path forward for every person.
Sreejith Nair

Director and Audiologist
Sreejith is an experienced audiologist and co-founder of Essence Audiology. After practising in Australia and overseas, he established Essence with a commitment to bringing thoughtful, patient-centred hearing care to regional communities.
His work spans adult hearing assessments, hearing-device fitting and support, tinnitus care, custom hearing protection and ongoing help for people who already wear hearing aids. Sreejith is particularly passionate about ensuring that clients understand their options and feel confident in the decisions they make about their hearing.
Nisha Krishnani (M. Aud)
Director and Audiologist
Nisha is Sreejith’s wife and co-founder of Essence Audiology. She brings a calm, approachable, and thorough style to hearing care, helping clients feel comfortable from their first conversation through to their ongoing support.
Nisha shares Essence’s commitment to independent, practical advice and to making hearing care feel clear rather than overwhelming. Her focus is on taking the time to understand the person behind the hearing test and helping each client find a solution that fits comfortably into everyday life.

Hearing needs can change. Technology can change. Sometimes a device simply needs cleaning, adjustment, or a fresh explanation.
Essence Audiology provides ongoing support for patients who need help getting more from their existing hearing devices, regardless of where they were fitted.
Bring in your existing hearing aids, including many major brands, and we can assess their condition, fit, and programming, then discuss practical next steps.
Support, even when getting to clinic is difficult:
For compatible hearing aids, our audiologists can provide telehealth appointments, including making hearing aid programming adjustments remotely.
This has been greatly appreciated by clients who live further away from our centres, have limited mobility, or simply need a small adjustment between appointments.
