Hearing changes are often most noticeable in the moments you value: conversations, social occasions, calls and time with family. Hearing aids may help make speech clearer and everyday listening less tiring.

The right hearing aids are not simply about making things louder. They are selected and finely adjusted to help you follow speech more comfortably in the situations that matter to you.

A hearing assessment and consultation can help establish your hearing levels, what has changed, and whether anything needs attention now.
We will explain the results clearly and talk through the options that may be relevant to you.

If your hearing aids are not performing as well as they once did, or you are curious about newer options, we can review your current devices and discuss what may improve your hearing.

Where hearing aids are clinically suitable, you can trial them for 7 days in the situations that matter to you: family, television, phone calls, meeting friends, and noisier places. You then come back for a follow-up appointment so we can hear how you went and make adjustments. If needed, the trial can be extended for a further 7 days with further adjustments.
There is no charge for the trial. If you decide not to go ahead, you return the hearing aids and pay nothing.

A hearing aid is not an off-the-shelf purchase. The right solution depends on your hearing results, the listening situations you want to improve, and the style of device you feel comfortable wearing.
At Essence Audiology, an audiologist will take the time to understand what matters to you before discussing suitable options.
That may include discreet in-ear devices, rechargeable models, Bluetooth connectivity, or technology designed to help with conversations in background noise.
